8 Run Queenstown

Heli ski past dramatic crevasses on the Clarke Glacier in NZ

The ultimate daily trip for those wanting the most of their backcountry experience. Enjoy huge vertical, fresh powder snow, and terrain to suit experienced to expert heliskiers and heliboarders. You’ll need stamina for this epic day!

We will group you into groups of 4-5 with the priority being that you are with others of similar ability and also with your friends and family. A guide will be allocated to you and they will  allocate safety equipment, teach you how to use it and then take you to terrain that is suitable. They are there to keep you safe but also to help you achieve what you want out of the day so communicate your needs and he will do his best to make it happen.

No matter what option you choose you will still receive a phone call at 7.45am and all depart and return at the same time. It takes a full day and you are brought back anytime from 4pm to 6pm.

The most important part is to make sure you have the right equipment which is fat skis or a longer board. Please check in with the shop staff if you are unsure. Also check our FAQ page for commonly asked questions.
