4 Run Queenstown

Intermediate heliski terrain at Mt Nicholas, Queenstown, New Zealand

For skiers and boarders who want to experience the best heliskiing and heliboarding that New Zealand has to offer. Ideal for first-time intermediate heliskiers with extra runs available on the day. This package runs out of Queenstown and takes advantage of the best terrain in the region.

We will group you into groups of 4-5 with the priority being that you are with others of similar ability and also with your friends and family. A guide will be allocated to you and they hand out safety equipment and teach you how to use it.  They are there to keep you safe but also to help you achieve what you want out of the day so communicate your needs so your guide can give you a day you’ll never forget.

A weather call is made at 7.45am with departure time soon after. You will be away for a full day in the backcountry with the return time anywhere from 4pm to 6pm.

The most important part is to make sure you have the right equipment which is fat skis or a longer board. Please check in with the shop staff if you are unsure. Also check our FAQ page for commonly asked questions.

Our 4 Run heliski terrain is varied with a combination of wide-open bowls, natural half pipes, rollovers and if you want to push your limits, chutes, and rock drops. Because our terrain area is so great we choose the best snow and weather conditions on the day to enable you to have a  quality experience.
